COEYMANS, N.Y. (WRGB) — A person from Menands is accused of stealing more than $50,000 worth of cannabis from a Coeymans business.

State Police say Alexie Santos, 36, was reportedly employed by Curaleaf in Coeymans.

Investigators allege Santos stole the cannabis between March 11 and March 13.

A warrant was issued April 13, and Santos was arrested during a traffic stop on April 14.

Investigators say they were investigating a separate theft when they discovered this one.

Dean Erno, of Schenectady, was arrested back in March in that earlier case. State Police say Erno was also reportedly employed by the business and stole thousands of dollars’ worth of products from the same store.
