Valeo Presents its Latest Ineez AC Charging Station at Drive to Zero 2026

June 1, 2026

Building on its leadership in electrification technologies Valeo offers a whole range of advanced smart charging solutions presented at Drive to Zero (June 2-3)

Valeo presents for the first time a breakthrough Ineez AC charging station incorporating vehicle-to-grid (V2G) technology and the latest communication protocol (ISO 15118-20)

June 2, 2026 – Paris, France — Valeo, a global leader in automotive technology, is building on its leadership in electrification technologies to expand its footprint in the electric vehicle ecosystem with a range of advanced smart charging solutions. The whole offer will be presented on June 2 and 3 at Drive to Zero at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles (Paris), Pavilion 5.3, booth B14.

For the first time, Valeo will present a new Ineez AC charging station that natively integrates bidirectional Vehicle-to-Grid and the ISO 15118-20 communication protocol to turn the charging point into an active hub that optimizes energy flows and costs by allowing electric vehicles to interact with the grid.

Isabelle D’Ambrosio, Vice President Smart Mobility at Valeo, stated: “At Valeo, we are combining our industrial excellence and software protocols, to make advanced energy flexibility both accessible and future-proof for our customers, expanding our reach beyond the traditional automotive technology. We are proud to present our latest Ineez AC charging station that offers Vehicle-to-grid technology as well as the latest communication protocol that secures a safe interface between the vehicle and the charging station.”

Valeo presents its new Vehicle-to-Grid AC charging station

At Drive to Zero, Valeo is introducing its latest alternating current (AC) charging station. Engineered to address the new grid flexibility challenges, this new solution natively integrates bidirectional Vehicle-to-Grid alongside the advanced ISO 15118-20 communication protocol. This protocol acts as a secure, universal interface between the vehicle and the charging station.

Valeo’s embedded software allows a flexible implementation of grid-codes for each country. Instead of just delivering power, the charging station enables the car and the grid to talk to each other in real-time, sharing energy data to optimize charging costs and safely manage bidirectional energy flows. By enabling electric vehicles to seamlessly feed energy back into the grid or buildings during peak demand, Valeo transforms the traditional charging point into an active, cost-effective hub for energy transition.

Powered by V2G technological expertise

The technological core of the V2G charging stations is built upon the proven V2G software and hardware platform originally developed by IoTecha and now owned by Valeo. Thanks to industry-leading engineering teams, Valeo’s charging solutions combine cutting-edge communication protocols and a unique cloud-based “IoT.ON™” platform, ensuring seamless interoperability between the vehicle, the charger and the grid.

“As EV infrastructure becomes woven into the fabric of daily life – from the driveway to the highway – the potential for asset monetization scales exponentially. IoTecha’s platform, now a part of Valeo’s global ecosystem, bridges the gap between simple charging and smart monetization. We aren’t just charging vehicles; we are providing a one-stop shop to turn every EV into a high-performance revenue engine,” said Oleg Logvinov, Founder of IoTecha.

Transforming the EV charging experience through cutting-edge solutions

Valeo’s portfolio of advanced technologies radically transforms the end-user charging experience by turning complexity into a flawless routine. Valeo provides customers with a high level of convenience, maximum cybersecurity, and the ability to reduce energy costs. This is achieved by deploying advanced features such as Autocharge for automatic and cardless authentication, and the ISO 15118-20 communication protocol for ultra-secure data transfers, enabling bidirectional V2G charging.

To ensure these benefits are accessible to everyone, Valeo focuses on the seamless integration of its hardware with its backend supervision platform, securing full compliance and strict interoperability standards throughout its client portfolio. This technical synergy effectively paves the way for the industrialized execution of future Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) applications.

At Drive to Zero, Valeo is showcasing its full Ineez offer, engineered to meet the distinct operational requirements of fleet managers, commercial properties, residential customers and automotive partners:
