Stocks in South Korea and Taiwan, the center of global chip making, plunged on fears about energy prices. Their recovery shows the bullishness over artificial intelligence.

On Wednesday, Gov. Mike Dunleavy, Alaska Attorney General Stephen Cox and Lee Zeldin, the administrator for the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), spoke to press at the University of Alaska Fairbanks power plant. During their time at the university, federal and state leaders spoke about developing resources such as coal, oil, gas and critical minerals. 

Ether surged 7.5%, dogecoin jumped 7.5%, and solana added 5.3% as global equities rebounded and $700 million flowed into U.S. spot bitcoin ETFs since the start of March.
